Change and transformation. The new normal as we say, but still…
It is never easy to change an organisation and its people, especially if the company has a long tradition and is active in industries ranging from steel over components to elevators.
Today I interview Louis Ramos, Head of Communications at ThyssenKrupp Elevator AG.
Louis was kind enough to talk very openly about how he orchestrates the internal and external communications of 50,000 employees at over 90 locations around the world during times of drastic change…
We’ll talk business transformation, corporate culture, social media, internal and external communications and how he manages the complexity of very diverse stakeholders.
The Elevator Technology Business brings together the Group’s global activities in the area of passenger transportation systems. Its range includes passenger and freight elevators, escalators, moving walks, passenger boarding bridges as well as stair and platform lifts.
Louis has a long career in communications which started with ABB DaimlerBenz in Portugal, continued at Bombardier and now with ThyssenKrupp in Germany. Like me he is a long time member of the EACD.
